Structural Anomalies in Stirred Submerged Bioreactors Relevant to Immersed Membrane Use

Abstract: Separation of value-added food additives is often practiced by micro and ultrafiltration membranes in integrated submerged membrane bioreactors (sMBR) and the flow conditions are of major importance for their performance.
