“…The small initial drop in coercivity and slow decrease in saturation magnetization for x values up to 0.2 are consistent with the substitution of Ga at spin-up 2a and spin-down 4f 1 sites with preference for occupying 2a sites. This is consistent with the substitution of small amounts of Ti-Ru at these sites as confirmed by Mossbauer spectroscopy [26]. For higher x values, spin-up 12k sites which contribute negatively to the anisotropy field start getting occupied by Ga ions, leading to the observed increase in coercivity and decrease in saturation magnetization.…”

“…All samples were prepared by ball milling and extracted from the same batch we used in our previous studies [27,33] h. Further detailed explanation of this treatment is given in references [27,33]. The phase purity and crystallite sizes in the synthesized samples were checked by x-ray diffraction, and the particle size was determined from the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging.…”

“…It was found that small amounts of Co 2+ and Ti 4+ substituting for Fe 3+ in BaFe 12-2x Co x Ti x O 19 , can substantially reduce the coercive field, H C , with only a littlie change in saturation magnetization [28,29,30,31,32,33,34]. On the other hand, with Ru-Ti substitution, the saturation magnetization at room temperature was found to increase up to x = 0.2, and then to decrease for higher x values, while the coercivity decreases monotonically, recording a reduction of about 55% at x = 0.4 [27]. These properties, in addition to the large saturation magnetization, good chemical stability, and low switching field distribution make these compounds useful in high density and perpendicular recording.…”

“…Hasil ini sesuai dengan kajian literatur yang menyimpulkan bahwa low level substitution pada BHF mengubah parameter kisi c namun parameter kisi a cenderung konstan [12]. Perubahan kecil pada x = 0.4 menunjukan pengisian pada 2a dan [13,14], diperlihatkan pada GAMBAR 2. Peningkatan logaritmik ukuran kristalit dengan bertambahnya substitusi.…”
