“…Through this analysis, it was estimated that x c ∼ 0.57 is slightly smaller than that observed by the X-ray data. However, this value is in good agreement with those of 0.57 and 0.58 listed in the literature for powder and films of PST [18,22,30].…”

“…Polycrystalline Pb1−xSrxTiO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) (PST) powders were prepared by the complex polymerization method, which provides samples with high composition accuracy and homogeneity [30][31][32]. To prepare the samples, we used commercially available reactants such as lead acetate trihydrate [Pb(CH3COO)2·3H2O] (>99% purity, Aldrich), strontium carbonate (SrCO3) (>98% purity, Aldrich), titanium isopropoxide [Ti(OCH(CH3)3)4] (>97% purity, Alfa Aesar).…”

“…This indicates the symmetry of crystal is decreased and the crystal structure changed from cubic phase to tetragonal phase. This was due to the lattice expansion as Sr 2+ ion (0.112 nm) is replaced by larger Pb 2+ ionic (0.118 nm) in the (Pb, Sr)TiO 3 system [26,27].…”

“…The resistivity of Fedoped PbTiO 3 system can further increase by reducing particle size with Sr substitution. Pontes et al 10 reported the effect of Sr doping in PbTiO 3 to reduce grain size because the Sr content attributes lower grain-growth rates due to the slower diffusion of Sr 2+ with Pb 2+ ion. The substitutions of Sr at Pb site and Fe at Ti site may provide relaxation stability and interesting transport properties.…”
