Structural analysis of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 manganite synthesized by sol-gel and solid-state route

Abstract: In this study, the structural properties of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (LSMO) manganite synthesized in bulk and nano form have been analyzed in detail. The bulk LSMO was synthesized by the solid-state method whereas the LSMO nanoparticles was prepared using the sol-gel route. The structural properties of the prepared samples were examined using X-Ray diffraction (XRD). Rietveld refinement confirmed that all the samples crystallize in R-3c space group with a rhombohedral structure. Williamson-Hall (WH) Analysis using Unifo… Show more

“…The details of sample preparation have been published elsewhere. 51 The synthesised polycrystalline and nanocrystalline samples have been designated as L1 and L2, respectively. Detailed structural and morphological analyses were carried out to understand the crystal structure and phase purity of the samples and have been described in detail in our previous work.…”

“…Detailed structural and morphological analyses were carried out to understand the crystal structure and phase purity of the samples and have been described in detail in our previous work. 51 X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis was carried out using a PANalytical X'Pert PRO powder diffractometer using Cu-Ka radiation (1.5406 Å) operating at 30 mA, 40 kV with a step size of 0.0171 in the range of 201 to 801. The crystallite size was calculated using the Debye-Scherrer equation.…”
