Stroke in pregnancy

Abstract: The incidence, causes and optimum management of stroke in pregnancy are poorly understood, which largely reflects the inconsistency and limitations of the published data available. Women who have had a stroke in pregnancy are anxious about subsequent pregnancies, particularly as there is a lack of definitive information and guidance that general physicians and obstetricians are able to provide.
