Stress-strain Monitoring Technology for Bolted Fasteners Based on 3D- Digital Image Correlation Method

Abstract: The monitoring of stress and strain of bolt fasteners is crucial for stress testing threaded holes and bolt ends. To accomplish this, Three-Dimensional Digital Image Correlation (3D-DIC) technology is employed to capture surface morphological feature images before and after deformation through a digital lens.
