Stress-associated purinergic receptors code for fatal suicidality in the hippocampal-hypothalamic-prefrontal circuit

Abstract: Imbalanced purine metabolism is a key neurological basis for suicide and mood disorders (MD), wherein purinergic receptors in stress-sensitive cerebral regions are thought to be differentially activated.
