Stress analysis of channel shell to nozzle junction of high pressure feedwater heater

Abstract: A feedwater heater is a heat exchanger designed to preheat boiler feedwater by means of condensing steam extracted from a steam turbine. High pressure feedwater heater is employed just before the boiler so that, the water fed to the boiler is preheated and at higher pressure.
