“…[91]. A series of polyether antibiotics including nigericin (40), epinigericin (41), abierixin (42), and the new grisorixin methyl ester (43) were isolated from the Streptomyces youssoufiensis SF10 strain collected from Chélia Mountain, in Khenchela (North-eastern Algeria) [105]. The online coupled HPLC-ESIMS analysis provided the full polyether profile, and the preparative HPLC technique in the reversed phase condition gave pure compounds, which were identified by extensive NMR and ESI-MS spectra in comparison with reported data.…”

“…Recently, Djinni et al [43] purified (+)-streptazolin (37), produced as a major compound in an appreciable amount from Streptomyces thermoviolaceus SRC3, a fresh-water sediment-derived strain. The structural characterization of streptazolin, including its absolute configuration previously defined by X-ray crystallographic analysis on a derivative, was established by comparison of NMR, MS, and optical activity.…”

“…Recently, many attempts have been made to optimize them using statistical experiment designs such as Taguchi method (Mahalaxmi et al., 2009), factorial fractional design (FFD) (Fontes et al., 2012), central composite design (CCD) (Srinivasulu et al., 2006; Djinni et al., 2018) and Box-Bunken design (BBD) (Vijayabharathi et al., 2012; Kim et al., 2014). The process through statistical approach such as response surface methodology (RSM) is an approach resulting economic, efficient and accurate (Ahsan et al., 2017).…”

“…6,7 Streptazolin, mainly produced by members of the genus Streptomyces, presents antibiotic and antifungal activities. 8,9 Some synthesis research on the compound and its analogues has also been developed. [10][11][12] Recent research has proved that the compound can also increase bacterial killing and elaboration of immunostimulatory cytokines by macrophages.…”
