Abstract:El Streptococcus spp ha adquirido mucha importancia a nivel mundial debido a la gran patogenicidad de sus diferentes especies. Una de ellas es el Streptococcus del Grupo B que comúnmente se encuentra a nivel vaginal en mujeres embarazadas, lo que puede ocasionar una contaminación al recién nacido en el momento del parto.
