Strengthening the Foundations: An Introduction to the Role of Conceptual Metaphor Theory in Art Therapy

Abstract: This paper offers an introduction to conceptual metaphor theory (CMT), rooted in the cognitive linguistics field of study, and its application to art therapy theory and practice.
