“…The meta-sediments of the Eastern Belt was mapped as Carboniferous based on the fossils found in Ulu Paka, Terengganu (Chand, 1978), some other places in north Pahang and Terengganu (Jennings & Lee, 1985;Metcalfe et al, 1980) and Batu Rakit (Idris & Zaki, 1986) and is known as the Sungai Perlis Bed (Chand, 1978).
