In contrast, problem-focused coping is considered a protective factor against consumption ( Blevins et al, 2014 ; Coriale et al, 2012 ; Dermody, Cheong & Manuck, 2013 ; Marquez-Arrico, Benaiges & Adan, 2015 ; Walker & Stephens, 2014 ; Woodhead et al, 2014 ) and is associated to better mental health ( Bavojdan, Towhidi & Rahmati, 2011 ; Nyamathi et al, 2010 ).
