“…Zeolites for industrial applications are conventionally synthesized through hydrothermal processes, where the oligomerization of poly-silicic acids is crucial [3]. People have come to realize the significant roles of the concentration of silicate precursors, pH values of the reaction mixture, and the reaction temperatures to the formed framework structure and crystallinity of the zeolite materials [14,15,16]. However, due to the complexity of the hydrothermal reaction and the lack of suitable experimental techniques, limited knowledge has been gained at molecular level on the oligomerization of poly-silicic acids, especially at the initial nucleation and during the growth of zeolite materials, even though they are crucial [17,18,19,20].…”

“…Imaging-guided chemo-photodynamic dual-mode therapy is a novel modality of cancer theranostics, which can improve therapeutic efficiency with minimized side effects and avoid the burden of multiple injections of different therapeutic agents in clinical applications. 8,108,109 Liu and co-workers 20 developed a kind of theranostic agent (Co-NPs) which was constructed by self-assembly of a paclitaxel (PTX, 110 an anti-tumor drug for ovarian and breast cancer) dimer and two-photo photosensitizer (Fig. 10a).…”

“…The basic building unit of zeolite structure is the individual tetrahedra with center of Al 3+ , Si 4+ , or other small ions with electrovalence of IV or more. [106][107][108] The secondary building unit (SBU) consists of selected geometric groupings of primary tetrahedra linked by oxygen bridge. [109,110] There are nine such building units, which can be used to describe all of the known zeolite structures.…”
