Abstract:Introduction: Ricinus communis is used as a decoration in landscape gardening in Turkey. In industrialized countries, however, it is used in many sectors, including the chemical, pharmaceutical, and fertilizer sectors; it is also used in cosmetics and biodiesel fuel production.
