Strahlenrisiko bei der Herzkatheterisierung und Ankiokardiographie des Kindes

Abstract: The skin exposure and the energy transferred to the body (integraldose) increase with the child's growth. Nevertheless the mean body dose (integraldose/body-weight) is the highest in the youngest patient. The probability of roentgenray induced letal malignancy is approximately 1:9000--1:17000. The morbidity risk may be 2--3 times higher at the least.
