Stopping panic attacks

Abstract: Panic attacks can be disabling with patients experiencing episodes of intense fear coupled with physical and psychological symptoms. When reviewing treatment in 1993, we concluded that patients responded to cognitive behaviour therapy, imipramine or benzodiazepines.1 In this article, we reassess the treatment of panic disorder.
