Stokes–Mueller formalism of spectrally-resolved transmitted light in an artificial opal

Abstract: The response of an artificial opal to different polarization states of incident light is quantitatively analyzed by performing Mueller matrix (MM) polarimetry measurements in the transmission geometry.
