Stochastic Response of Nonlinear Base Isolation Systems

Abstract: Abstract. A hybrid base isolation system was used to retrofit two residential buildings in Solarino, Sicily. Subsequently, five free vibration tests were carried out in one of these buildings to assess its functionality.
