Abstract:In order to improve the weak signal processing capability of stochastic resonance (SR), a new asymmetric SR system with nonlinear jointed potential function is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the new joint potential stochastic resonance (JPSR) system is built by combined gaussian potential function and asymmetric bistable potential function. Secondly, the analytical expression of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is derived based on two-state theory and adiabatic approximation theory. Meanwhile, the influence of sy… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
