Stochastic Gravitational-Wave Backgrounds: Current Detection Efforts and Future Prospects

Abstract: The collection of individually resolvable gravitational wave (GW) events makes up a tiny fraction of all GW signals that reach our detectors, while most lie below the confusion limit and are undetected.
