The species is also known from Australia (Herbarium MEL-2306426A), China (Dai et al 2004), India (Leelavathy et al 1986), Japan (Maas Geesteranus 1971), Mexico (Blanco 1999), and the United States of America (Baird et al 2013). Commentary Sarcodon atroviridis is distinguished by its dark, velvety to velutinous, pileus surface; hymenophore that is toothed, Sarcodon atroviridis: new records whitish to grayish, and not decurrent; and central stalk.…”
