The characteristics of stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in a liquid-core optical fiber (LCOF) contained CS 2 with 10 ns pulses at 532 nm wavelength are investigated experimentally. The threshold, reflectivity, pulse-shape (PS) fidelity, and phase-conjugation (PC) fidelity of LCOFs with different core diameters and lengths are measured. Threshold energy is as low as 2.5 µJ, and the SBS reflectivity, the PS fidelity, and PC fidelity exceed simultaneously 90 % when the input energy is over 20 times threshold.
