Sternal lifting increases the operating space in esophagectomy via mediastinoscopy: a prospective cohort study

Abstract: Background: Esophagectomy with combined single-port inflatable mediastinoscopy and laparoscopy reduces the risk of postoperative respiratory complications as it obviates the need to pass through the pleural space.
