“…Another study [65] also presented an MR actuator that can be easily inserted into haptic shoes and can haptically simulate the material properties of the ground. In comparison, Taclim [66] is a commercial haptic solution that provides the feeling of wearing shoes in a VR environment or walking on different types of ground, including desert or grassland, or with water on the soles of the feet.…”

“…The German forested landscapes occupy an area of 31% (more than 11 million hectares or ha), while the Czech Republic consists of 33.7% (more than 2.6 million ha) from the total country area [15,29,44]. In regards to the total population [50], one ha of forest area in Germany is intended for about 7000 inhabitants, almost double than that of the 4000 residents in the Czech Republic in 2015. The GVA (at basic price) in forestry in 2015 was 3344 million Euro in Germany, compared to the GVA of the Czech Republic (883 million Euro).…”

“…The net annual increment of the wood supply in the Czech Republic was below the roundwood production in 2018. In comparison to the total population [50], if one m 3 wood was be consumed by one person, the roundwood production in Germany would satisfy about 69% of needs, so Germany needs to import roundwood. Meanwhile, the Czech roundwood production could fulfil 137% of public needs, which could make the country export roundwood.…”

“…To analyze the landscape morphology of the study area, a binary raster map at a 30 m spatial resolution classifying land use as foreground (forest) and background (nonforest) was generated using the 1:5000 m scale digital land vector cover map produced by the Korea Ministry of Environment in 2020 [44]. Map features were then reclassified into seven morphological categories: core (core habitat patch), islet (isolated small habitat patch), perforation (gap within a habitat patch), edge (boundary between different land covers), loop (ring-like habitat), bridge (connection between habitat patches), and branch (narrow habitat) [15] via the eight-neighborhood analysis method in the GuidosToolbox [45]. Lastly, core patches deemed critical for protecting landscape connectivity were extracted as ecological sources to analyze connectivity.…”
