Stent expansion: a combination of delivery balloon underexpansion and acute stent recoil reduces predicted stent diameter irrespective of reference vessel size

Abstract: Background: There is a strong inverse relationship between final vessel diameter and subsequent risk of treatment failure after coronary stent deployment.
