Status of Sedentary Time and Physical Activity of Rural Residents: A Cross-Sectional Population-Based Study in Eastern China

“…The results showed that the prevalence of hypertension and comorbidities was higher among urban participants compared to their rural counterparts. Certain lifestyle behaviors such as sedentary behaviors (53) and high calorie intake (54) contribute to the increasing prevalence of hypertension among urban Chinese older adults individuals.
