Statistical evaluation of main extraction parameters in twenty plant extracts for obtaining their optimum total phenolic content and its relation to antioxidant and antibacterial activities

Abstract: The main extraction parameters were statistically evaluated for 20 medicinal plants to obtain the optimum conditions for maximum extraction of total phenolic content (TPC) in each plant. Among various extraction parameters, pH, temperature, and concentration at different levels were studied. The results were analyzed using the analysis of variance to achieve the optimum conditions of phenolic extraction for all plants. Also, investigation of the optimum antioxidant (AnOX) activities using DPPH (2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐… Show more

“…However, it should be remembered that the simplicity of this method may generate some errors resulting from the determination of non-polyphenol compounds. The results obtained as a result of this analysis show a high correlation between the antioxidant and biological activity, allowing for the possibility of characterizing the obtained extracts [39,40]. The content of active compounds and TPC are shown in Table 1.…”

“…But for data that requires more complex processing or unstructured data management, other methods may be more appropriate. 2) Routing: The process of sending data from a source node to a destination node involves sending the data from the node to the cluster head [42,43]. If the cluster head is not connected to the source, it forwards the data to another cluster head.…”

“…The type of problem, how it was initially set up, and the strategy employed to find a solution all have a big impact on how long it takes to resolve. In terms of execution time and cost, coupled algorithms-which are produced by combining numerous meta-heuristic heuristic algorithms-are more efficient than other algorithms [12]. Through the use of reinforcement learning techniques, the fog system can automatically and dynamically adapt to changes in compute load and service requirements [13].…”
