Station Set Components

Abstract

The development of the Picturephone® stalion set required the special design of many new electronic components. These include new camera and display tubes for opto-electro conversion, 18 integrated circuits using both silicon and tantalum technologies, and several additional discrete devices. This article reviews the development of these custom designed electronic components.
