Static-light mesons on a dynamical anisotropic lattice

Abstract: We present results for the spectrum of static-light mesons from N f = 2 lattice QCD. These results were obtained using all-to-all light quark propagators on an anisotropic lattice, yielding an improved signal resolution when compared to more conventional lattice techniques. In particular, we consider the inversion of orbitally-excited multiplets with respect to the 'standard ordering', which has been predicted by some quark models.PACS. “…The LHCb experiment should be able to see the remaining two states (0 + and 1 + ), which are expected to decay into s-wave states by emitting either a photon or a π 0 [15]. On the theory side there are a number of phenomenological model and EFT mass determinations [16,17,18,19,20,21,15,5,22,23], a determination using Unitarized EFT based on low energy constants extracted from lattice QCD simulations [24], and some lattice QCD calculations in the static limit [25,26,27,28,29]. The HPQCD collaboration has published Email addresses: christian.lang@uni-graz.at (C. B. Lang), dmohler@fnal.gov (Daniel Mohler), sasa.prelovsek@ijs.si (Sasa Prelovsek), rwww@triumf.ca (R. M. The results of our numerical investigation have also been positive [3]. The variation of the renormalised anisotropy measured from the dispersion relations of pseudoscalar and vector mesons was shown to be mild over a range of quark masses from strange to charm.…”

“…The spectrum of radial, orbital and gluonic excitations of charmonium M. case [6] the anisotropy in the charm sector had to be tuned separately to that in the light quark sector to obtain the same renormalised anisotropy. This mass-dependence of ξ in the dynamical theory may be a discretisation effect and is under investigation.…”
