“…We emphasize that for other f-elements studied, Ce, Gd, and Yb [39][40][41], the magnetic susceptibility obeys Curie Weiss low; however, the effective magnetic moment at the infinite dilution does depend on temperature, which seems to result from strong spin-orbit coupling in these elements. theoretical value.…”

“…The method allows the electronic state of paramagnetic atoms and the exchange interactions in small clusters to be detected and evaluated. Since during studying the magnetic dilution of colossal magnetoresistors (La 0.67 Sr(Ca) 0.33 MnO 3 in LaAlO 3 with perovskite structure [34,35] we found that the introduction of f-elements into lanthanum sites results in drastic changes in the magnetic behavior of the solid solutions (Figure 2) [36,37], we undertook the magnetic dilution of LnAlO 3 in the same LaAlO 3 matrix with the aim of revealing the magnetic behavior of rare earth elements (Ce, Eu, Gd, Yb) in the diluted solid solutions [37][38][39][40]. Our latest study is that of the magnetic susceptibility of the solid solutions of LaAlO 3 doped with samarium atoms-La 1−y Sm y AlO 3 (y = 0.02, 0.20).…”

“…Many lanthanide compounds have unusual physicochemical properties: record values of the magnetic moment, luminescence, and other properties valuable for practice. [ 1–5 ] Complex compounds of lanthanides are used as diagnostic tools, photo‐, X‐ray, and electroluminophores, and as other functional materials. [ 6–10 ]…”

“…Many lanthanide compounds have unusual physicochemical properties: record values of the magnetic moment, luminescence, and other properties valuable for practice. [1][2][3][4][5] Complex compounds of lanthanides are used as diagnostic tools, photo-, X-ray, and electroluminophores, and as other functional materials. [6][7][8][9][10] The magnetic properties of pure rare-earth (RE) elements and their alloys are diverse and interesting; therefore, a huge number of studies have been devoted to this issue.…”
