STATCOM Design for Voltage Control using Synchronous Vector PI Controller

Abstract: The objective of this paper is to improve Voltage profile of the system by controlling reactive power using a synchronous vector PI controller. Voltage in a power system is mainly affected by reactive loads and faults.
