Starting Somewhere: Advanced Practice Nursing in Canada

Abstract: Many countries are capitalizing on nurses with advanced degrees or practice experience to increase patients’ access to healthcare. In Canada, there are two advanced practice nursing roles – nurse practitioners (NPs) and clinical nurse specialists (CNS).
