Abstract: Contexts approached award-winning playwright, novelist, and humorist Dylan Brody-who's been called a "sociologist on the stage"-to talk about the transformative power of story-telling. Brody discussed the effects of television on political humor, the sad state of heroes, and how he incorporates his political knowledge and ideals into personal stories that capture the imagination.
