Staged Image-guided Robotic Radiosurgery and Deferred Chemotherapy to Treat a Malignant Glioma During and After Pregnancy

Abstract: A 26-year-old pregnant woman with a fast-growing malignant deep-seated brain glioma was offered a therapeutic abortion to allow subsequent surgical resection. This option was refused by the mother, but the fast tumor growth placed the life of both mother and child at risk.
