Staged below-knee amputations for septic peripheral lesions due to ischaemia

Abstract: Preservation of the knee joint is of paramount importance in lower limb amputation for ischaemia. Clinical predictors of healing are unreliable in patients with septic peripheral lesions due to ischaemia.
