Stability Study and Kinetic Monitoring of Cefquinome Sulfate Using Cyclodextrin-Based Ion-Selective Electrode: Application to Biological Samples

Abstract: Two novel cefquinome sulfate (CFQ)-selective electrodes were performed with dibutyl sebacate as a plasticizer using a polymeric matrix of polyvinyl chloride. Sensor 1 was prepared using sodium tetraphenylborate as a cation exchanger without incorporation of ionophore, whereas 2-hydroxy propyl β-cyclodextrin was used as ionophore in sensor 2. A stable, reliable, and linear response was obtained in concentration ranges 3.2 × 10(-5) to 1 × 10(-2) mol/L and 1 × 10(-5) to 1 × 10(-2) mol/L for sensors 1 and 2, respe… Show more

“…(MNPÀ Fe 3 O 4 ) sensors were also constructed using cation exchangers such as malachite green (MG) and crystal violet (CV) with β-Cyclodextrins (β-CD) forming the respective (MGÀ Fe (β-CD)) and (CVÀ Fe (β-CD)). [50,97] These ISEs lead to rapid and sensitive detection of DCL in wastewater samples and pharma- ceutical dosage form in the presence of anionic and organic interfering substances. Conductive polymers were also used for the preparation of the ISE membranes.…”

“…Stability study and kinetic monitoring of cefquinome sulfate using cyclodextrin-based ion-selective electrode were developed by Yehia AM, et al, 38 . Shantier SW et al and Dołhań A et al, 39,40 developed chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods for the analysis and stability studies of cefquinome sulphate in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage forms.…”

“…A standard addition technique [35] was employed to eliminate the possibility of potential measurements deviation resulting from matrix interference. This was performed by successive small additions of DIPH standard solution (1.0 × 10 À 4 M) into accurate aliquots of diluted spiked milk and human plasma.…”

“…Herein, the optimized sensor IV was successfully employed for selective sensing of DIPH in spiked human plasma and milk samples utilizing the standard addition approach [35], where the effects of the samples matrix are solved. The following equation was used for plotting a linear relationship between (V 0 + V std ) 10 E2-E1/S and C std.…”
