Bullying is often considered a natural developmental process experienced by children and adolescents, so that it can affect the physical and psychological growth and development of both the perpetrator and the victim. The purpose of this study was to determine the general description, causal factors and effects of bullying on the interest of students of SMP N 3 Weleri to become athletes. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive research design. The population in this study were all students participating in extracurricular sports at SMP N 3 Weleri totaling 110 students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observation, documentation, and unstructured interviews. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that many students do not understand the general picture of bullying. Family factors are the biggest trigger for bullying behavior. Bullying does not affect the interest of SMP N 3 Weleri students to become athletes. The conclusion of this study is the lack of socialization or debriefing about bullying from school and family, so that they have less insight. Family factors are a trigger for bullying behavior due to lack of attention from parents, especially for children from broken homes. Bullying is not a factor inhibiting the interest of SMP N 3 Weleri students to become athletes.

A lot of new science has been inspired by common phenomena and even by old traditions practiced in our daily lives. Eventually, after deep exploration, this may engender unexpected new technologies. In this paper, inspired by the wearing of a traditional cloth called a sarong, by the community in South East Asian countries and others, we investigate the behavior of sheets folded in the same way as the rolling of the sarong around the stomach. Simple equipment was designed to qualitatively collect the data which was combined with simple modeling. The rolling of the sarong around the stomach generates a joining force between two sheets, increasing proportionally to the square of the number of rolls. This finding can potentially be applied for developing a method for strongly joining sheets by simply rolling them and releasing the join by unrolling. This work can also be simply duplicated elsewhere, so it is worthy of teaching materials at undergraduate level. Both the scientific and the teaching contents can be extracted simultaneously.

We developed a simple physics model to explain the profile of the rope played in the rope jumping game. Firstly, we derived a second order non-linear differential equation to explain the rope motion. Analytical solutions can be obtained if the displacement of all points along the rope is small. For arbitrary deviations, a numerical solution must be employed, and at the present paper, we used a simple excel-visual basic program. We found that the profiles of the simulation results is very similar to the real profile which can be observed in a number of sources on the internet. A critical value separating the condition where the rope length remains unchange and the condition when the rope changes suddenly with rw2/T was identified. A scaling relationship was also identified in the changing region with the critical exponent of -0.31. The existence of the critical point and the critical exponent in the changing region informs that the change in the rope profile resembles the phase transition phenomenon
