“…The knowledge of dielectric constant of mixed solvents is required to predict the drug's solubility and chemical stability in a water-cosolvent mixture and the analyte behaviour in analytical methods (Abolghasem et al, 2004). Drug solubility in mixed solvents (Dumanovic et al, 1992), acid dissociation constants of drugs (Newton et al, 1982) and chemical stability of pharmaceuticals (Sanyude et al, 1991) could be explained considering dielectric constant of the solvent system.
