This study investigated the effects of autonomous and controlled motivations, and workload on perceived stress, health, and performance. Workload was also considered as a moderator of the effects of autonomous motivation on perceived health and performance and of controlled motivation on perceived stress. We conducted an empirical study using a sample of 654 firefighters. Consistent with our predictions, results showed positive effects of autonomous motivation and negative effects of workload and controlled motivation on perceived health and performance. They also revealed positive effects of controlled motivation and workload and negative effects of autonomous motivation on perceived stress. Moreover, workload moderated the relations between autonomous motivation and perceived health and performance, so that the positive relations between autonomous motivation and perceived health and performance were lower when workload was high. Finally, workload moderated the relation between controlled motivation and perceived stress so that the positive relation between controlled motivation and perceived stress was stronger when workload was high. Theoretical contributions and perspectives, as well as implications for practice, are discussed.

Аннотация Работа направлена на определение сущности понятия «глобальное мировоззрение» и его влияния на становление культуры трансляции знаний и способов познавательной деятельности у будущего педагога. Глобальное мировоззрение рассматривается авторами как сознательное отождествление человеком себя с биосферой, планетой в целом и космосом, то есть с обстоятельствами, естественно возникшими на Земле. Обосновывается предположение, что глобальное мировоззрение выступает определяющим условием становления у педагогов культуры трансляции знаний и способов познавательной деятельности. При этом культура трансляции знаний и способов познавательной деятельности понимается как качество личности, проявляющееся как совокупность содержательных, деятельностных и личностных самопрезентаций. В культуре трансляции выделены аксиологическая, интеллектуально-личностная, деятельностно-методологическая составляющие. Выделены синергетические принципы, на которых на основе глобального мировоззрения строится транслирующая функция педагога. Ключевые слова: целостность образовательного процесса, глобальное мировоззрение, компоненты культуры трансляции знаний и способов познавательной деятельности.

This study used latent profile analysis to cluster students into three groups with homogenous motivational profiles based on self-reported self-efficacy, task value and task anxiety measures obtained from 263 middle school students. The results demonstrated that there were distinct motivation profiles among students while engaging in a one-to-one computing environment for English learning, which resulted in differences on their performance. In general, this eLearning environment had a significant positive effect on students' learning achievements regardless of various motivation profiles. But students with high self-efficacy, task value while low task anxiety performed better than those in other profiles. This study also suggested that task anxiety impeded students from benefiting from the one-to-one computing environment, but it could not significantly affect students' learning outcomes. The profiling of student motivation orientations enhanced our understanding of the complex interactions of various motivational components and extended our existing knowledge in this emerging area of student learning. Besides, the findings inform future interventions in curriculum design and effective scaffoldings.
