“…As for controlled motivation, it was positively related to perceived stress and negatively to perceived health and performance. These results are in line with previous research demonstrating that autonomous motivation leads to more positive outcomes does than controlled motivation (Ryan & Deci, ) in terms of both one's health (Fernet, Austin, & Vallerand, ; Gagné et al, ) and performance (Fernet et al, ; Gillet et al, ; Grant & Berry, ). Indeed, firefighters with high levels of autonomous motivation have the feeling of initiating their own actions and act in accordance with their personal values.…”

“…In line with these results, we first examined the effects of autonomous and controlled motivations on perceived stress and health. Prior studies also showed that, unlike controlled motivation, autonomous motivation was significantly and positively correlated with performance (e.g., Gillet, Morin, & Reeve, ). More generally, according to SDT, positive outcomes such as performance are associated with high levels of autonomous motivation (Ryan & Deci, ).…”

“…Как следствие, глобальное мировоззрение позволяет формировать непредвзятый взгляд на мир, отбирать факты из разных областей знаний, формировать стратегию познания с автономной мотивацией. Об этом пишут Gillet, Morin & Reeve (2017). Их исследования показали, что высокая автономная мотивация обучающихся дает положительные результаты, она способна наращивать даже высокие уровни контролируемой мотивации.…”

“…Prior research has extensively examined the nature of students' profiles of motivation orientations based on selfdetermination theory (SDT) [11] [12][13] [14]. For example, Gillet and his colleagues identified six distinct motivation profiles based on the SDT [11], which included autonomous, moderately autonomous, strongly motivated, moderately unmotivated, poorly motivated, and controlled profiles. The study conducted by Wang, however, revealed four distinct motivational profiles based upon the organismic integration theory, one of the sub-theories of SDT [13].…”
