Stability and Consolidation of Sediment Tailings Incorporating Unsaturated Soil Mechanics

Abstract: Tailing dams are commonly used to safely store tailings without damaging the environment. Sand tailings (also called Sediment tailings) usually have a high water content and hence undergo consolidation during their placement.
