Abstract: The activation and accumulation of lung fibroblasts (LFs), resulting in aberrant deposition of collagens and other extracellular matrix (ECM) components, is a pathogenic hallmark of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a lethal and incurable disease.
