Spreading kinetics at a molecular level

Abstract: The spreading of a smectic nanodrop (8CB liquid crystal) on a solid surface was investigated by direct and real time imaging using the Surface Enhanced Ellipsometric Contrast (SEEC) microscopy [1-2].
