“Sports” hernia: treatment with biologic mesh (Surgisis)

Abstract: Laparoscopic exploration should be considered in athletes with chronic groin pain that does not improve after conventional treatments have failed. Furthermore, biologic mesh (Surgisis) should be considered for the repair of inguinal sports hernias.
