Abstract:Background and Objectives: Spontaneous colonic perforations (SCPs) in teenagers and young adults are extremely rare. Common underlying conditions, such as colonic tumors and diverticulitis, are absent at that age. The vascular type of Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome (vEDS) is one cause of SCP.
