Abstract: Key Clinical MessageOmental infarction is a rare cause of acute abdominal pain, often benign and self‐limiting. The significance of infarction lies in the fact that it can mimic other abdominal pathologies including appendicitis, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, or reflux disease.
