Spontaneous mutation in the AgrRS two-component regulatory system ofCupriavidus metalliduransresults in enhanced silver resistance

Abstract: Cupriavidus metallidurans is able to adapt to toxic silver concentrations and previously uncharacterized periplasmic proteins played a crucial role in this adaptation process.
