Spontaneous lesser omental herniation resolved by laparoscopic surgery: case report and systematic literature review

Abstract: Background Despite its extremely low incidence, intra-abdominal herniation through the lesser omentum is associated with a high mortality rate and must be recognized early and treated urgently.
