Spontaneous intramuscular hemorrhage in cancer-associated dermatomyositis: a case and literature review

Abstract: Background Spontaneous intramuscular hemorrhage (SIH) is a rare but life-threatening complication of dermatomyositis (DM). The pathogenetic mechanism and management of intramuscular hematoma in these patients remains unclear.
