Spliceosomal Proteomics in Trypanosoma brucei Reveal New RNA Splicing Factors

Abstract: In trypanosomatid parasites, spliced leader (SL) trans splicing is an essential nuclear mRNA maturation step which caps mRNAs posttranscriptionally and, in conjunction with polyadenylation, resolves individual mRNAs from polycistronic precursors.
